Documents on exhibition for public comment December 2023

December 2023, resolved to place on public exhibition the following documents:
The concept designs Options 5 and 8 for the redevelopment of the Hay Community Building
- The existing community building, centrally located at Hay Park and close to all three schools, was identified as underutilised community infrastructure that could be redeveloped into a modern youth and community indoor/outdoor space. Two concept designs have been developed for community feedback (Options 5 and 8); The primary difference between the concepts is that Option 8 involves the removal of the rugby league/rugby union changerooms from the community building and the establishment of new changerooms at number one oval, while Option 5 involves the refurbishment of the existing changerooms to meet current codes. Early high order cost estimates for redevelopment are $1.45M for Option 5 and $1.86M for Option 8. The building phase is currently unfunded.
