Hay Shire Council would like to advise all residents that the Truck Wash on Thelangerin Road will be introducing a new payment system upgrade during February/March 2025.

The large truck wash will have the Avdata payment method implemented, with the small truck wash being made redundant during February/March 2025.

Use of the large truck wash will by an Avdata Fob, that can be purchased directly through Avdata or at the Council Office for $38.50

Avdata’s technology is used throughout the National Truckwash System and enables users to access the truck wash when required without the need to purchase tokens at the Council Office  

 
New pricing for the for the truck wash will as follows;

• Cost per minute use = $0.5454 excl. GST ($0.6 including GST)
• Minimum cost per use = $2.727 excl. GST ($3 including GST)
• Cost per fob $35 excl. GST ($38.50 including GST)

 
Tokens can be refunded from the 1^st of March to the 1^st July 2025. Only tokens purchased through Council will be refunded, please supply copy of receipt or date when tokens were purchased.
