Current River height: 6.78m and falling. The water is steady in Maude and rising in Booligal. We are expecting large inflows from the lower Mirrool Creek and Lachlan River over the coming days and week, with an expected peak of 3.4m in Booligal mid this week.
π€ Rainfall: The forecast this week looks favourable.
Predicted River Peak: The Murrumbidgee River has now dropped below the moderate flood level (7.50 m).
Flood Levee: All flood gates are now open.
Council crews: Will continue to monitor the levees as needed during the day only. Council is undertaking regular reconnaissance in Booligal and Maude. Staff will undertake another level check in Booligal today as the predicted peak approaches.

β οΈ We remind people to drive to the conditions and that water can create hidden hazards on the roads.
Road Repairs: Council staff are out inspecting roads as access allows, and currently arranging resources to commence road emergency repair works when conditions suit. Grader crews have been be deployed out to rural areas, as well as sealed road repairs have commenced. Emergency repairs on Maude Road expected to commence early this week.
