Hay Shire Council wish to advise the public that a Pindone baiting program for rabbits will be conducted from Monday 1st October until Friday 26th October 2018
Ground baiting will commenceMonday 1st October within the Hay Cemetery grounds. Baited areas will be signposted and have barrier tape in place. Poisoned baits will contain Pindone (Dimethyl Oxopropyl).
Areas undergoing treatment will have signs displayed and all directions regarding entry should be followed. Landholders, neighbours and visitors are warned not to enter baiting locations with domestic pets and to tie up dogs. Working dogs should be muzzled while working stock and restrained during non-working periods during and after the poisoning period.
