COVID-19 Update on Council Facilities

Hay Shire Council
COVID-19 Update

** Bishops Lodge will only be open on Saturday afternoons until end of June due to renovations **

The Federal and State Government's road map to COVID Safe Australia has taken another step with the lifting of further restrictions. Council advises that from Monday 15 June 2020 the following council facilities will reopen:

  • Community Centre and Halls - with social distancing and sanitising requirements in place, and restrictions on the number of members of the public inside at one time.

The Administration Building Customer Service Counter hours will also be extended from Monday 15 June 2020 - weekdays from 9am to 4pm. Limit of two members of the public inside at one time.

Council's Ranger will continue to patrol council facilities and public areas.

It has been great to see the increase in visitors to Hay now that regional travel is permitted. Once again, I thank the Hay community for the wonderful way everyone has embraced the behaviours required to keep Hay COVID-19 free. As the restrictions ease and our way of life returns to some normality it is important to follow the guidelines set by the Government.

Remember to please stay safe, look after yourself, family and friends.

Regards
David Webb
General Manager.
