Current River height: 7.18m and falling. The water is steady in Maude and rising at Booligal, there are expected large inflows from the lower Mirrool Creek and Lachlan River over the coming days and week, with an expected peak of 3.4m in Booligal early next week. All flood gates are now open with pumps removed accordingly. Council staff are continuing to monitor the levees as needed during the day only. Council is undertaking regular reconnaissance in Booligal and Maude, with level check in Booligal on Monday as the predicted peak approaches. Grader crews have been deployed to rural areas this week and sealed road repairs have commenced. Some Roads are also closed. If you require flood assistance please contact SES on 132 500.
