Liveability means different things to different people – whether it's more shops and green spaces, less or more parking, or a focus on improving public safety. We believe that everyone’s unique voice should be heard to ensure Council planning responds to our residents' specific values and priorities.
Hay Shire Council has commissioned social research organisation, Place Score, to undertake the 2024 Living in Hay survey. It provides a unique opportunity for residents, workers and visitors in our Shire to share what is most important to them, to rate the liveability of the neighbourhood you know best and tell Council what needs to be improved.
By participating in this research, Council will have access to place specific insights that will ensure local planning can respond to local needs - including our next Community Strategic Plan. Less than 15 minutes of your time has the potential to impact 100s of decisions across Council.
